Brief Description:

fully integrated cable fault testing system combines multiple functions, including low-voltage pulse distance measurement, high-voltage pulse current distance measurement, acoustic-magnetic induction pinpointing, audio reception pinpointing, and step-voltage pinpointing. It is primarily used for locating faults such as broken wires, short circuits, and ground leakage faults (with ground insulation resistance below 0.5 megohms) in high- and low-voltage buried power cables. It can also identify high-resistance ground faults, flashover ground faults, and detect the depth and path direction of buried cables.

• It integrates three testing methods: low-voltage pulse reflection method, pulse current method (requires a high-voltage pulse power supply), and multiple pulse method (requires a path signal generator). It can test faults such as broken wires, low resistance, high resistance, and flashover.

• Designed with high anti-interference capability, it can accurately test without interference in high electromagnetic environments such as near substations, under high-voltage lines, and in cable trenches.

• High testing accuracy: in low-voltage pulse mode, the accuracy is less than ±1 m when the range is below 1 km, and less than 0.5% when the range exceeds 1 km.

• Three operation modes: touchscreen, mechanical buttons, and rotary encoder, providing convenient and flexible operation.

•7-inch large LCD screen with a 160° viewing angle and brightness of 750 cd/m², ensuring clear visibility even under direct sunlight.

• Rotary encoder for cursor movement, enabling more flexible and rapid operation.

•Waveform storage and comparison function: test data can be stored locally or uploaded to a computer via USB for viewing.

• Adjustable backlight brightness and auto-shutdown time, with extended battery operation time.

• The signal generator includes a multimeter function, making it easy to identify faulty lines by testing loop resistance and insulation.

• The locator can pinpoint water pipe leaks and cable leakage.

•One-key mute function on the handle to silence high-frequency, harsh sounds during probe movement.

• Filter gear selection function, allowing different pass-through frequencies for better sound quality and higher signal-to-noise ratio.

• Magnetic field synchronization indicator function, triggering synchronous flashing with the magnetic field.

• Acoustic-magnetic synchronization for precise fault location, automatically determining the fault position with an accuracy of <0.1 m.

•Acoustic-magnetic delay can also be manually measured by moving the cursor, with an accuracy of <0.1 m.

• Acoustic velocity can be set, automatically calculating the distance from the discharge vibration point to the probe based on the acoustic velocity.

•Pause function to freeze the current waveform, facilitating waveform analysis.

• Memory comparison function, displaying the current waveform and stored waveform in different colors on the same screen for easy comparison and analysis.

• Configurable settings for instrument time, acoustic velocity, backlight brightness, and auto-shutdown time.
